Design Intern

Are you an up and coming web designer who’s never seen a blueline proof nor smelt a printing press? Design Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign CS3 or higher.
  • Experience with MS Office including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work with others in a team environment and accept constructive criticism.
  • General understanding of HTML, Flash and CSS and how to design for efficient front-end coding.
  • Awareness of social media technologies, standards and trendsĀ (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, flickr, etc.).
  • Comfort with some ambiguity in assignments and ability to ask questions when they arise.
  • Detail orientated paying close attention to file organization.
  • Knowledge of user experience and user interface standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Creating wireframes, artwork, comps and site designs for websites and social media applications.
  • Working closely with other web designers, programmers, and account leadership.
  • Following a client’s brand guidelines and understanding that sometimes creativity isn’t just about great design, it’s about great design that meets requirements.
  • Showing a strong communications and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
